This is my fifth year
teaching at Hall Middle School. Before that, I
taught for a year at Tamalpais High School. In my previous
life I had a
20-year career as an engineer and entepreneur. I have two
engineering patents and I was one of the founders of a satellite
Internet
access equipment company. I have two children, one of whom is
also an 8th grader this year. I read,
travel, sew,
and knit in my spare time.
Here is a picture of
the road to my house after the January 2006 flood. A mudslide
re-routed the creek into the road.
